Painting with long exposures, this series highlights minimalist scenes of the diverse Puget Sound. Part of the Salish Sea and an inlet of the Pacific Ocean, it is home to an ever-changing moody seascape speckled with lowlands and overflowing with ancient energy.

Approaching Storm.

Another day above the tree line and amongst the alpine.

The sun was raging with summer heat all week. Any storm to roll in was bound to be tempestuous. And it indeed came to pass.

But before the weather turned and took root in l

The wind was harsh and unruly as snowflakes speckled the alpine meadow.

It was late in the fall season, mid-morning, and this would be the first snow to stick.
